Radio Azzurra 88 Rete Liguria was born in 1988 from the ashes of Radio Gamma 80 TOP ITALIA RADIO in Amborzasco (S.Stefano d'Aveto ) in the province of Genoa on the initiative of Claudio Sacco and Luciano Focacci in collaboration with the Municipality of S. Stefano d' Aveto and Rezzoaglio. Its name derives from the BLUE boat which in 1988 successfully participated in the AMERICAN CUP.
