Rádio Alvorada has been on the air since the mid-1970s, broadcasting from Ji-Paranamá. It is part of the Gurgacz Communication System. Its broadcast reaches more than 40 municipalities, reaching more than half a million listeners. Rádio Alvorada de Rondônia Ltda was founded on October 1, 1976. It was contemplated with the prefix ZYJ-672 and operating in the frequency of 900 KHZ, it is the first broadcaster on the BR-364.
In July 1978, it went on the air on an experimental basis, being made official on October 12 of the same year, with Mr. Alcides Paio as its founder, today president of the Cultural Foundation of Ji-Paraná.
