Alternative FM radio 105.9 – A.R.C.A. (Alternative Community Radio Association) – opened in 2001, and is now the oldest radio station in Bicas in operation. In addition to being a space for entertainment, information and culture, Rádio Alternativa always seeks to offer a social service to the region's population. That's why the radio's programming has a space reserved for every musical taste and an interactive program where you decide what you're going to listen to.
