98 FM was born on September 23, 1978, under the artistic guidance of Jaime Azulai, coordinated by Luiz Augusto Biasi, with programmers Sérgio Duarte and Marcos Ramalho; and superintendence of Mário Luiz. The station had its change from Eldo Pop FM to Rádio 98 FM with the slogan: " 98 FM you call, it's just success".
