Petrinjski Radio is one of the oldest radio stations in Croatia
In the late 1940s and early 1950s, the town of Petrinja was one of the first in Croatia to have its own radio station. Broadcasting station Petrinja got its name in the summer of 1941, and since 1955 it has been operating as Sound and Radio Station Petrinja.
Before the Homeland War, Radio operated as the Company "INDOK". An important part of history relates to the war period when, from February 1, 1992, it was called Croatian Radio Petrinja and the program was broadcast from Sisak. After the military-police operation Oluja, Hrvatski Radio Petrinja is again headquartered in Petrinja, and in 1999 it was transformed into Petrinjski radio d.o.o. under which name it still operates today.
