The Office of Broadcasting and Television of Benin (ORTB) is a public institution of social, cultural and scientific character endowed with legal personality and financial autonomy. The ORTB comes under the administrative supervision of the Ministry in charge of Communication. It is managed by a Board of Directors whose members are appointed by presidential decree. The Board of Directors is vested with the broadest powers to act in all circumstances on behalf of the Office within the limits of its corporate purpose.
