Ningbo People's Broadcasting Station was founded in 1953. Over the past 55 years, Ningbo Radio has forged ahead, pioneered and innovated, and its broadcasting business has continued to grow. There are more than 160 professional and technical personnel in Taiwan, including 29 with senior professional titles and 58 with intermediate professional titles. It has five series of programs including the comprehensive news channel News Broadcasting, The Sound of Sunshine, the Economic Entertainment Channel, the Traffic Music Channel, the Sound of Traffic, and the Sound of Music. It broadcasts more than 100 programs of various types throughout the day for 98 hours, effectively covering Ningbo The city and surrounding areas cover a total population of more than 10 million. The rich program content and lively program form have attracted a wide range of listeners. According to CCTV Suo Furui's survey, Ningbo Radio has a share of more than 60% of the Ningbo radio audience. Ningbo Radio Station also has its own comprehensive website "Ningbo Radio Online". In 2010, "Sunshine Voice of Ningbo Radio Station for Young and Old" was renamed as "Ningbo Radio Station for Young and Old Broadcasting" because the "Voice of Sunshine" was removed.
