Ilijas

Radio Ilijaš is one of the oldest local radio stations in Bosnia and Herzegovina, it started working on April 6, 1978 as the first and only newspaper in the territory of Ilijaš municipality. However, it quickly grew into a medium of regional character with a recognizable programming orientation towards entertainment and music programs that preferred mostly folk music. It became an indispensable radio station for all singers from the former Yugoslavia who wanted to promote their new musical materials. This is how the large audience of this radio was achieved in addition to the fact that at that time there were not many radio stations and the competition (unlike today) was quite weak. However, even in such competition, the first is always the first.
