The program is designed to be listenable and largely dispenses with special programs. A special feature is the positioning of the news five minutes before the hour. Comedy "personalities" such as Anke from "Ankes Tanke" or the FFH stupid questioner are popular. In 2017, FFH was awarded the German Radio Prize in the "Best Comedy" category by the independent Grimme jury.
