In the beginning there was the idea: Michael Staab and Mario Rösseling, who founded the dance band Goldstadtstürmer together, decided to found their own internet radio in January 2008. When choosing a name, the connection to Pforzheim should be clearly in the foreground. The town in the three valleys (Enz, Nagold and Würm meet here at the gate to the Black Forest) is known for its gold and jewelry industry, also known as the "Gold Town". So what could be more obvious than founding the "Goldstadtradio".
