The FRS uses a network of six transmitters and has a technical reach of around 220,000 people. Installation, maintenance and conversion of the transmitters are carried out in-house. Freies Radio Salzkammergut is thus developing competencies that benefit the entire non-commercial broadcasting sector in Austria.
