El Cairo Stéreo, is a Community Radio Station at the service of the Cairense and Nortevallecaucana community, based in the beautiful municipality of El Cairo, Valle del Cauca, declared by UNESCO as "World Heritage - Coffee Cultural Landscape", which is located in the foothills of the Western Cordillera, on the border with the department of Chocó, in the territory of the Serranía de Los Paraguas. The Station began broadcasting at 4:45 in the afternoon on December 7, 1997 and throughout its 21 years of existence, it has become an important element in the life of our community, especially those residing in the rural sector.
