Cultura 93 FM

In the year 1981, on June 26, the entry into the air of the first radio station in modulated frequency in the south-central region of the state can be considered a milestone in communication. For the Diocese of Guarapuava, this fact was of vital importance, as Rádio Cultura FM, belonging to the Nossa Senhora de Belém Foundation, began to carry the voice of the Catholic Church in this range as well. At the time, the station's coverage was reduced, due to the low number of frequency modulated receivers, but this project already envisioned the near future, the popularization of FM radio. Since then, a lot has changed, receivers have become more accessible, transmitter power has been increased, equipment and studios have undergone constant updates and improvements, the staff has become more and more professional, programming has been adequate to the reality of the market, which resulted in the expressive growth of the 93FM audience.
