ALEX is the trimedial participation and creative platform for Berlin, which offers an unusual program for an extraordinary city. The content and production at ALEX rests on two pillars: user-generated content and event and education television. The User Generated Content area enables producers to produce and broadcast their contributions directly from Berlin for Berlin. The event and training television serves to convey media competence and regularly produces features on current cultural, political and social events in the capital. In this way, committed young people are given a qualified entry into the media industry.
