KGRG1 - Le radici del Grunge e "YOUR Classic Alternative" sono iniziate il 5 aprile 2014 per onorare il suono del nord-ovest negli anni '80 e '90 fino ad oggi - Soundgarden, Alice In Chains, Foo Fighters, Mother Love Bone, STP, Pearl Jam, The Clash, The Misfits, Sonic Youth, U2, The Ramones, Grunt Truck, Temple of the Dog, ovviamente Nirvana e molto altro ancora. Tutto ciò che ha reso KGRG-FM la stazione radio universitaria più chiacchierata del paese e ha creato un nuovo genere che ancora oggi fa rock.
